About the School
Set on 81 acres just outside of Nanyuki, Kenya, Three Rivers Academy is a new secondary school that opened in early May 2022. For many years the three spiritually-based primary schools in Kenya have hoped for a high school where their students could continue their education in the same atmosphere. Three Rivers is being built to serve the graduates of those schools and other families who want this type of inspired education.
The school started small and is using buildings already on the property while construction of boys' and girls' dorms, the academic building and a dining hall are complete. Eventually Three Rivers will enroll 300 students.
The motto of the school - Love Good. Be Good. Do Good.- indicates the school's emphasis on character education, while at the same time offering the Cambridge curriculum, a strong, internationally-recognized academic program.The most significant thing that differentiates Three Rivers Academy from other schools offering the Cambridge curriculum is that all the administrators, teachers, and staff see every student as the perfect child of God with unlimited ability. Every member of the Three Rivers Academy community is a loved and valued member and encouraged to realize their full potential. The school's core values are responsiblity, integrity and kindness, and these values permeate all the activities of the school, including academics, athletics, and other co-curricular activities.
